Army Officer lauds regular training of Personnel

The General Officer Commanding GOC in charge of the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army in Enugu State, Major General Aminu Chinade has applauded the efforts of the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja for the regular personnel training.

The GOC made this Commendation during the 2 Special Women Operations Battalion Maiden Inter Company Cross Country Organised by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Emmanuel Manasseh Ukande at the Training Ground of Nkwegu Military Cantonment in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital.

Major General Aminu was represented in the Competition by the 82 Division Training Officer DTO, Brigadier General Okhume Ejere.

“I want to thank God almighty for successful and hitch free Competition. Let me remind you that training in Nigerian Army is the only tool that can enable officer to be effective in their fields to perform their role effectively. The training has been regular, hence the gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff for regular approval of both resources and time for the training.

The Commanding Officer of the Battalion, who organised the competition, Lieutenant Colonel Emmanuel Ukande appreciate everyone who participated in the cross Country Training Competition.

Ukande further thanked the company that took the first position in the competition.

For her part, the Deputy Governor, Mrs Patricia Obila who represented the Governor said she was overwhelmed by the excellent performance of all the soldiers involved in the competition

Obila pledged the continuous and harmonious relationship between Ebonyi State Government and the Nigerian Army.
