Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis has stated that Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain are the only club that could afford their star player, Victor Osimhen, this summer.
Media Talk Africa reports that many European clubs are interested in signing the 24-year-old talismanic striker who scored 26 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions last season.
According to Transfermarkt, Osimhen’s value is €120m.
De Laurentiis believed PSG are capable of triggering the striker’s release clause.
He said Paris Saint-Germain president, Nasser Al Khelaifi wants to send a €200m bid for Osimhen.
“The only club that could afford Victor Osimhen is Paris Saint-Germain,” he told Mediaset.
“If Nasser Al Khelaifi wants to send in a bid around €200m… we wait and we see what happens.”
Napoli president, however, said he hopes to keep Osimhen at the club.
