Victory wins Nigerian Idol S8, walks away with N35m, car

Gospel singer, Victory Gbakara, on Sunday night, emerged winner of Nigerian Idol Season 8.

He defeated Precious Mac to clinch the N100 million grand prize, part of which is N35 million in cash and a brand new car.

The prize also includes a music record deal and a video shoot.

Speaking shortly after emerging victorious, Victory thanked his fans for their support, stressing that they made his victory possible.

He said, “I don’t know what to say. But I want to say thank you. You made this happened.

“Thank you all so much. I love you. Thank you for making my dream come true.”
