Shooting Stars captain Malomo breaks silence on transfer rumours

Malomo Taofeek Ayodeji, has revealed that the love for Nigeria Premier League side, Shooting Stars made him turn down offers from other clubs.

The midfielder was a subject of interest from reigning NPL champions Enyimba, Akwa United and Bendel Insurance last month.

Malomo however decided to extend his stay with the Oluyole Warriors for another season.

He expressed confidence that the Gbenga Ogunbote’s led side will achieve success in the upcoming NPL season.

“I had tempting offers like you know,” he revealed to the club’s media.

“I couldn’t just pick any ahead of Shooting Stars because of my love for the club and considering the way I’m loved and adored here, it is something I so much cherish.

“With what I am seeing so far, coupled with the efforts of our coaches, I believe so much that we will pick a continental ticket this season.”
