I want to make afrobeats popular in German-speaking region – Singer Rose May Alaba

Austrian-Nigerian singer, Rose May Alaba, has said her mission is to make the west African music genre, afrobeats popular in German-speaking region.

Rose May, who is a sister to Real Madrid footballer, David Alaba, made this known in a recent interview with Ameyaw TV.

The ‘Ibadi’ crooner said she is the afrobeats artist in Austria.

She said, “I was born and raised in Austria. It’s a very small country. I’m the only afrobeats artiste who brings that music [afrobeats] to this country.

So, I feel like it is my mission to make afrobeats more known in the German-speaking region.”

Rose May said she is happy that Nigerians are supporting, adding that she would continue to represent her African roots.
