Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, has revealed that her father was not happy with her celebration after scoring against Australia at the ongoing 2023 Women’s World Cup.
Oshoala pulled off her jersey and ran to the side of the pitch to celebrate after making it 3-1.
The Barcelona star’s action became the subject of debate among football fans on social media.
Oshoala has now revealed how her father reacted to the celebration.
She wrote on Instagram: “My dad is definitely not happy with my choice of celebration but then again, life is a collection of MOMENTS.”
Nigeria are currently top of their group with four points and play the Republic of Ireland in their final group game.
