APC chairmanship: Ganduje choice will pave way for reconciliation – Yakubu

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdallah Yakubu has insisted that the choice of Abdullahi Ganduje as the National Chairman of the party would pave the way for true reconciliation.

NAN reports that Yakubu disclosed this in a statement in Abuja while applauding the National Executive Council, NEC, of the APC for endorsing Ganduje, based on wisdom and foresight.

He said, “The choice of Ganduje, therefore, must have been based on wisdom and foresight.

“The party is greater and bigger than all of us. I therefore wish to offer my sincere congratulations to the new national chairman.

“To our most amiable President, Bola Tinubu, we can only offer our deep admiration of your unique leadership style. You are seeking to lead an all-inclusive government and party.”

Ganduje was on Thursday appointed the APC Chairman during the party’s 12th NEC meeting in Abuja.

Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu has since urged Ganduje, the former Governor of Kano State, to promote unity, peace and love among all members of the party.
