Okupe drums support for Tinubu over planned military intervention in Niger

The former director-general of the Peter Obi presidential campaign, Doyin Okupe, has drummed support for President Bola Tinubu’s military intervention against the Niger junta.

Okupe disclosed this on Friday through his Twitter handle while reacting to the political situation in Niger Republic.

Media Talk Africa recalls that the military junta in Niger said it had cut ties with Nigeria.

Okupe condemning the action of the juntas in Niger, said any action taken to rubbish Nigeria should not be tolerated.

According to him, all Nigerians must set aside all political differences and join hands to protect the nation’s democracy.
