Apologies from Rio Ferdinand after Man Utd’s Narrow Win over Wolves in EPL

In a surprising turn of events, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has issued a heartfelt apology to both the Wolves players and their dedicated fans following the Red Devils’ narrow 1-0 victory in the Premier League on Monday night.

Despite being on home turf, it was evident that Wolves outshone their opponents, demonstrating their prowess with 49% possession throughout the match. Additionally, Gary Paul O’Neil’s side took an impressive eight more shots than Manchester United, totaling 15.

Nevertheless, it was Raphael Varane who clinched the glory for the Red Devils with a timely 76th-minute header off an Aaron Wan-Bissaka cross, securing the only goal of the game.

However, fate seemed to favor Manchester United moments before the final whistle, as goalkeeper Andre Onana collided with Sasa Kalajdzic inside the box during stoppage time. While, upon observation, it appeared that Onana had indeed fouled the Wolves attacker, VAR surprisingly chose not to overturn the on-field decision.

Following the match, Ferdinand took to his official Twitter account to express his remorse, stating, “Apologies to Wolves players & fans… Scrappy @ManUtd win! Onana very fortunate at the end there. Three points secured, and it’s back to the training pitch this evening, please.”
