Former Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov, has named three Premier League teams that could potentially surprise people this season, urging fans and pundits alike to keep an eye on Brighton, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United.
Berbatov believes that these clubs are not given enough recognition for their ability and stated that they have the potential to break into the top six of the league table.
“People often fail to appreciate the quality of Brighton’s style of play. The way they pass the ball and their overall approach to the game is an absolute delight to watch. Aston Villa put up a commendable performance, and let’s not overlook Newcastle, who also have the capability to catch everyone off guard this year,” Berbatov explained.
“We have become so accustomed to the dominant forces of the ‘big four’ and ‘big six’ in the Premier League that we tend to overlook the likes of Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Brighton.
