President Bola Tinubu Appoints New Managing Director for Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Company

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, has recently appointed Mrs. Mojoyinoluwa Dekalu-Thomas as the new Managing Director of the Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Company (NELMCO). Mrs. Dekalu-Thomas has been appointed for a term of four years, following her successful tenure as the Acting MD of NELMCO, which commenced after the completion of Mr. Adebayo Fagbemi’s term on May 8th, 2023.

This key appointment marks a significant milestone for Mrs. Dekalu-Thomas, who has displayed exceptional leadership abilities during her time as the Acting MD. Her transition from an interim role to a substantive position bears testament to her exemplary performance and dedication to the organization.

With Mrs. Dekalu-Thomas assuming the position of Managing Director, a vacancy has been created for the role of Executive Director, Liability Management. In response, President Tinubu has authorized the appointment of Mr. Dimla Nchinney as the substantive Executive Director, Liability Management.

Presidential Spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, confirmed the news, stating that these appointments are effective immediately, in line with the directive of President Tinubu.
