The Moroccan powerhouse made this announcement during a recent visit from the AFL organizing committee, who discussed logistics surrounding Wydad Casablanca’s journey to Nigeria for the game.
In addition to addressing travel arrangements, the committee expressed its support and solidarity with the Moroccan people in the wake of a recent earthquake that affected several regions in the Kingdom.
Wydad Casablanca is set to face off against Enyimba, the reigning champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League, in the first leg of the quarter-finals.
This highly anticipated match will take place at the iconic Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on October 20, 2023.
