Famous Nollywood actor, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IK Ogbonna, proudly boasts that he has never made the first move in pursuing a romantic relationship with a woman.
Despite being previously married to Sonia Morales, before their marriage ended in 2019, the suave thespian maintains that he has never initiated a romantic connection with a lady.
During a candid conversation on the latest episode of the Petite Talks podcast, Ogbonna revealed that most of his relationships have always blossomed from genuine friendships.
He said, “As amusing as it may sound, I’ve never toasted a girl in my life. I don’t possess that skill. It’s not about being a handsome guy.
“I believe that my upbringing played a significant role. I grew up surrounded by female friends and this cultivated a habit of building connections through friendship. It would naturally progress into a romantic relationship.”
However, he did admit that he indulged in a bit of playful flirtation on social media with his ex-wife, Sonia Morales, before their friendship eventually evolved into a committed relationship.
