The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has commended the Nigerian military for its recent discovery of a gun-making factory in Kaduna State. This significant breakthrough was revealed in a statement issued by Prof. Ishaq Akintola, the Executive Director of MURIC, on Monday in Abuja.
A Major Breakthrough in Unmasking Perpetrators of Violence
Akintola described the military operation as a major breakthrough and an enlightening development in the efforts made by security agencies and the Kaduna State Government to expose those responsible for the ongoing violence in the state.
During the operation that took place on Friday, September 22 in Kafanchan, Jemaah Local Government Area of Kaduna State, soldiers from Operation Safe Haven discovered a gun-making factory. The cache of weapons found included rifles, shotguns, AK 47 rifles, sub-machine guns, pistols, and ammunition. In addition, police and army uniforms were also found, while two individuals, namely Napoleon John and Monday Dunia, were apprehended.

Akintola commended the soldiers for their professionalism and emphasized their unparalleled expertise in the field. He also emphasized that with appropriate support in terms of equipment, motivation, and welfare, no army in the world could rival their accomplishments.
