National Youth Service Corps Announces Batch ‘C’ Pass Out Date

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially disclosed that Batch ‘C’ Stream One Corps members will pass out in October. This announcement was made by Brigadier General YD Ahmed, the Director-General of NYSC, on Monday in Abuja.

As the Corps members begin their journey back to their families, they have been cautioned against embarking on night journeys. The NYSC emphasizes the importance of safety during this period.

The NYSC has organized a one-week program of activities for the outgoing Corps members. These activities include providing job creation and employment opportunities after service. Experienced officers from NYSC and the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) will oversee this initiative.

The distribution of certificates will take place at the Local Government level on Thursday, 12th October, 2023. This strategic approach aims to ensure ease and convenience for all graduating Corps members.

During his address, the Director-General commended the Corps members for their invaluable contributions to national development. In particular, he highlighted their notable performance during the 2023 general elections. Their interventions in essential sectors such as health, education, and rural development have made a significant impact on the nation.

General Ahmed also advised the outgoing Corps members to uphold the ideals of patriotism, diligence, loyalty, and self-empowerment that they have acquired during their service. These values will continue to guide them in their future endeavors.
