Nigeria’s Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam has burdened the necessity to discover avenues for collaboration with Turkey within the areas of intelligence sharing and capability constructing to fight transnational crimes.

According to him, “Turkey has consistently demonstrated its commitment to International Diplomacy and fostering strong bilateral relationships. Your visit is a testament to the importance placed on our bilateral ties and the desire to strengthen our partnership further.”

He additional mentioned, “Nigeria is a nation blessed with diversity, resilience, a vibrant culture, and a commitment to global peace, stability, and economic development.”

The Minister mentioned that “his leadership is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of the nation and its people.
The visit serves as an opportunity to exchange knowledge, expertise, and best practices in the field of security.”

Gaidam acknowledged that the challenges confronted right now are advanced and ever-evolving, and it’s by collaborative efforts and shared experiences that we are able to successfully tackle them.

Turkey’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Hidaye Bayraktar thanked Nigeria for the assist and donation throughout the earthquake disaster in Turkey, noting that each international locations have a vibrant and necessary relationship.
