Tinubu Approves Establishment of Civil Service Commission and Women Affairs Secretariat for FCTA

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, announced on Friday, October 13, that President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the establishment of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) within the FCT Administration.

During a press briefing in Abuja, Wike made this revelation, stating that the president has also sanctioned the creation of a Women Affairs secretariat in the FCT, which will be inaugurated in the coming weeks.

Wike expressed his dissatisfaction with the current absence of the commission, as it has prevented directors within the FCTA from advancing to the position of Permanent Secretary.
