Former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has promised to do all he can to assist John Okafor, the ailing Nollywood actor.
The veteran comedian actor took to social media on Wednesday to hunt public help as he battles an ailment which will price him his leg.
The actor mentioned he has been down for a lot of weeks and has been on admission in an undisclosed hospital.
The video he shared on Instagram has generated wide selection of reactions from sympathisers.
Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District within the eighth National Assembly, described Mr Okafor as his favorite actor.
“Mr Ibu is my favorite artist and comedian. He lights up and entertains the homes of millions of Nigerians.
“We shall not let him down for reasons we can all collectively solve. We shall do the needful and also bring the attention of the big names to do the needful,” he mentioned.
