‘Maximise your potentials’ – Gombe gov charges NYSC members

Govoveenor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has urged National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, members posted to the state to grab the chance to maximise their potential to turn into entrepreneurs.

Yahaya made the decision on Tuesday whereas declaring open the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream I Orientation train on the non permanent orientation camp within the Amada neighborhood of Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.

Represented by his commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Inuwa Ibrahim, Yahaya acknowledged that the state had all that corps members wanted when it comes to enterprise setting to realize their potential.

According to him, the state has plenty of potential in enterprise and entrepreneurship that they may harness to make themselves employers of labour.

“Gombe is a cosmopolitan state known for promoting peace and harmony, business and enterprise with rich cultural diversity and abundant agricultural produce.

“The above has helped promote business ideas for anyone who wants to settle and make a living while contributing to the growth and development of the state and country.

“Welcome to Gombe State; we are peaceful and receptive in nature.
“As a youth, you have an enabling environment to maximise your potential and achieve your dreams in life,” he stated.

The governor additionally urged the NYSC members to grab the chance of serving within the state to strengthen the bond of unity within the nation.

“Be reminded that the future of the country lies in your hands as leaders of tomorrow, so you have a significant role to play in shaping our corporate destiny,” he added.
