The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and the Niger State Government have signed 4 mission agreements with the goal of selling a inexperienced economic system, with a target of planting one billion trees over eight years.

NNPCL disclosed this in an announcement on Tuesday.

As a part of its dedication to local weather safety and carbon sequestration to attain its 2030 net-zero targets, NNPCL plans to plant 135 million trees on 100,000 hectares of land.
