NOA Director-General expresses optimism about Agency’s reinvigoration

The Director-General, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, has expressed hope that the Agency would be reinvigorated for better performance towards the execution of its mandate.

The NOA DG expressed this hope at the Kwara State Directorate of the Agency during a brief interaction with staff members of the government organ saddled with the responsibility of public sensitization and orientation.

Issa-Onilu, who noted with delight the readiness of the Agency’s staff to carry out their duties effectively, emphasised that “with the cooperation of all, the impact of NOA will yet be felt in every nook and cranny of the nation and the public would stop asking where is NOA?”

He therefore, called on staff to be ready for more proactive efforts towards a strategic implementation of systematic public orientation, sensitization and awareness on national issues.

The Director-General further expressed his delight at the Kwara State Directorate for the warm welcome given to him after inspecting a guard of honour mounted for him by the War Against Indiscipline (WAI) Brigade.

In his welcome speech, the NOA Kwara State Director, Mr. Olusegun Adeyemi expressed confidence in the ability of the Director- General to initiate strategic moves that would enhance the operations of the agency.

Adeyemi also assured of staffs’ readiness to work assiduously towards the fulfilment of the Agency’s mandate in the interest of nation building.

The State Director further described the person and vast experience of the new DG as a perfect fit for such an important Agency which is critical in mindset reorientation, especially at such a time as this, when Nigerians need to understand and display patriotism.

As a token of staff’s love and appreciation of the new Director General, Comrade Kolapo Ayinla, Chairman of Amalgamated Union of Public Corporation, Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE) NOA-Kwara made a presentation to Lanre the Director General.
