According to a NAN correspondent who visited several polling units in Lokoja, there was an early arrival of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and voting materials, setting the stage for a smooth electoral process.

At polling unit 067 Ward A, Kogi Hotel Tourism Board, the accreditation of voters and casting of ballots commenced promptly at 8:30 a.m., with eager voters already forming queues before the official start time.

A similar scene unfolded at polling unit 065 Ward A Saron Gari, where voters patiently waited for their chance to exercise their civic duty.

Notably, polling unit 068 Ward A, Baptist Plaza, saw voters conducting themselves peacefully, despite the absence of a security presence at the site.

Moreover, polling unit 012 Ward A, Crowder Memorial College, also witnessed a remarkable voter turnout, contributing to a successful and uneventful election process.

These positive trends were reflected across various other polling units in Lokoja, painting a picture of civic engagement and participation in the electoral process.
