Dino Melaye Sounds Alarm Over Alleged Tampering with Result Sheets in Kogi Governorship Election

Senator Dino Melaye, the gubernatorial candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, has raised a red flag concerning the integrity of the electoral process. According to Melaye, all polling units in Ogori/Magongo local government areas have been affected by the tampering of result sheets or prefilling.

He further highlighted that there is widespread unrest in these units as voters are vehemently opposed to the irregularities and are demanding access to unadulterated result sheets.

In a succinct video that surfaced on social media on Saturday morning, the former senator urged the citizens to stand against any machinations that could sabotage the collective will of the Kogi people.

Addressing the issue, Melaye affirmed, “The result sheets have been illicitly manipulated and filled in advance. Consequently, the populace has shown great resilience by refusing to participate in the accreditation and voting process. They are resolute in their demand for the proper and unaltered result sheets, as stipulated by the electoral regulations.”
