Imo State Governorship Candidate, Samuel Anyanwu, Confident of Victory

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Imo State, Samuel Anyanwu, has expressed unwavering confidence in clinching victory in the upcoming election.

Anyanwu articulated his optimism after exercising his voting right at the Central Amaimo School polling unit in Ikeduru Local Government Area of the state on Saturday.

Asserting his conviction, the gubernatorial hopeful emphasized that he would emerge victorious due to the populace’s yearning for an end to the subpar governance under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to Anyanwu, “I am confident of victory because the people of Imo State are disenchanted with the woeful governance of the APC.

“They are fatigued with the prevailing insecurity, poverty, and unemployment. The people of Imo State are exhausted by the APC’s deceit and misinformation.”

Anyanwu relayed receiving credible reports of ballot snatching and stuffing in certain locations but remained resolute, affirming his unwavering belief in emerging triumphant regardless of any ploys orchestrated by the incumbent government.

“I have never suffered defeat in an election. I have contested on at least five occasions, and I am poised to emerge victorious once again,” he asserted.
