Kano Pillars Football Club has officially inked a two-year sponsorship agreement with Gongoni, the manufacturers of Rambo insecticide, antiseptic, and an array of household products.
Addressing the press after the signing ceremony in Kano on Monday, the club’s chairman, Babangida Umar, hailed the deal as a significant milestone in the club’s history.
Umar expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with a brand that shares the club’s vision and values, emphasizing the potential mutual benefits of the collaboration.
He also extended gratitude to the state government, fans, and players for their unwavering support and commitment to driving the club’s progress.
In a statement, Abdullahi Halilu, the Director of Gongoni, conveyed the company’s delight in aligning with the local team and highlighted the prospective positive impact of the partnership on sportsmanship in the state.
Halilu elaborated that the collaboration would contribute to promoting the spirit of sportsmanship, underlining the company’s history of supporting sports initiatives through club-based affiliations.
Additionally, he revealed that the two-year partnership would feature Gongoni’s logo prominently displayed on Kano Pillars’ jerseys and throughout the stadium, marking a visible presence for the brand.
