The Lesotho national football team has touched down in Uyo in preparation for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Likuena arrived at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, on Monday night and then made their way to Uyo the following day.
After a night’s stay in Lagos, the team proceeded to Uyo on Tuesday, checking in at the Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort.
Leslie Notsi’s squad is set to hold their inaugural training session on Nigerian soil later in the evening as they gear up for the encounter.
The Lesotho national team is slated to lock horns with the Super Eagles at the revered Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Thursday.
Subsequently, they will play host to the Squirrels of Benin Republic in their second match at the Moses Mahbida Stadium next week Tuesday.
