Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, Prof. Aliyu Shugaba, expressed heartfelt appreciation to BUA for the centre, emphasizing its focus on entrepreneurship training and the potential for a crucial shift in entrepreneurial learning.

According to Prof. Aliyu, the new centre is poised to fulfill the goal of establishing businesses for graduating students.

“It is expected to cultivate a flourishing environment for innovation and entrepreneurship that fosters creativity, collaboration, and experimentation,” Prof. Aliyu remarked.

“It will serve as a platform for individuals and other stakeholders to launch and grow new ventures, thereby generating a substantial social and economic impact in the process.

“The future beneficiaries of the Centre will possess the capability to create enterprises for self-employment.

“On behalf of the university, I extend our heartfelt gratitude to Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu for his remarkable generosity and support,” Prof. Aliyu said.
