It was a week of outstanding performances as Nigeria Premier Football League matchday nine Team of the Week saw a strong presence from Akwa United, Remo Stars, and Doma United. These three clubs stood out with two players each making the selection, showcasing their prowess in the league.
The notable players included Uche Collins and Akintunde Bala from Akwa United, Sikiru Alimi and Ismaila Sodiq from Remo Stars, as well as Andrew Majalisa and Nelson Abiam from Doma United.
Joining them in the distinguished lineup were Shola Abdulraheem from Kwara United, Somiari Alalibo from Enyimba, and Chinedu Ufere from Sporting Lagos. Completing the selection were Kareem Ayinde from Shooting Stars and Chisom Chiaha from Heartland.
