In a recent revelation, Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee from the Big Brother Naija reality show, expressed unwavering determination to rebuff any apology offered by Venita Akpofure. The reason behind this resolute stance stems from Vee’s assertion that Venita played a detrimental role in causing the breakdown of her relationship with Neo Akpofure, Venita’s cousin.
During a candid discussion on the Moni Talks podcast, Vee candidly declared her unwillingness to reconcile with Venita, firmly attributing part of the blame for her relationship woes to her. She emphasized, “If my ex-boyfriend, Neo’s cousin, Venita ever publicly apologises to me [over her involvement in our split], I won’t accept it.”
Elaborating on her rationale, Vee clarified, “It’s not about me being a hard girl. It’s about being a sensible one. I know when to put my pride aside and acknowledge my faults. But I’m not naive. I recognize when it’s imperative to distance myself from negativity, and that’s precisely what she [Venita] brought into the mix. She played a part in our breakup.”
