Victor Osimhen is enjoying a remarkable season, and despite the growing interest from Premier League giants Manchester United, the Nigerian international remains fully focused on Napoli’s upcoming match against Roma on Sunday. The 24-year-old’s impressive performances have attracted the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Europe, with Manchester United reportedly showing the most interest. However, Napoli’s asking price for Osimhen has nearly doubled; the previous valuation of €100 million is no longer sufficient, as the club now believes he is worth €150 million. All discussions regarding his future have been postponed until June.
According to an Italian publication, Osimhen is not concerned about potential transfers and is solely focused on helping Napoli secure the Scudetto. He aims to celebrate the title with the city and its fans at the end of the season. Currently, his primary objective is to lead his team to victory against Roma at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. Both teams are in good form, with Napoli enjoying a 12-point lead at the top of the table, while Roma has won three of their last four league matches.
In their first encounter earlier this season in Rome, Napoli emerged victorious, with Osimhen scoring the decisive goal late in the match. Additionally, Napoli remains undefeated in their last four league games at home against the Giallorossi.
