VON pledges Cooperation with East Africa Community

The Director General, Voice of Nigeria (VON), Malam Jibrin Ndace has pledged to foster Cooperation with East Africa Community (EAC).

Malam Ndace made the pledge while attending the East Africa Culture Day celebration in Abuja, Nigeria.
The DG VON said he was committed to upholding all Memorandum of Understanding VON had with the Tanzanian government and will extend similar cooperation to other member states in the EAC.

This he said “is in line with VON mandate of telling the African story to the world and I want to assure you that I will deepen all collaborations not just with Tanzania.” Malam Ndace commended the Tanzanian Embassy in Nigeria for the work done to foster Nigeria-Tanzania relations.

The DG was at the event with an entourage comprising staff of VON studying the Swahili language, who also graced the event with a rendition of the East African anthem.

The event featured sights and sounds from Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan and Tanzania.
