In a bid to shake up the status quo and chart a new course for the team, Engineer Ibrahim Dada, the Chairman of Niger Tornadoes, has urged the club’s players to undergo a transformation in their approach to matches during the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Following an emergency meeting with the technical crew, Dada emphasized the need for a shift in attitude, citing the team’s current predicament as a wake-up call. Addressing the players directly, he made it unequivocally clear that inefficiency would no longer be tolerated under his leadership.
“At this critical juncture, the club demands a change in mindset,” stated Dada. “The management will not condone any distractions, and it is imperative for the players to direct their focus towards the upcoming encounter against Kwara United.”
Expressing the gravity of the situation, Dada conveyed a resolute message to the players, affirming the management’s unwavering commitment to taking decisive measures to uphold the club’s objectives.
“The present state of affairs necessitates radical action,” he declared. “The management is prepared to take any necessary steps to eliminate unproductive elements or explore alternative options, if that is what it will take to realize the club’s ambitions.”
Niger Tornadoes currently find themselves in the 16th position on the NPFL table, having secured three wins, three draws, and suffered six defeats thus far in the season.
