Alibaba Recounts Hosting Basketmouth and AY in His Home

Renowned Nigerian comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, popularly known as Alibaba, has shared a surprising revelation about his generosity towards fellow comedians, Basketmouth and AY Makun. In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, aka Nedu, Alibaba disclosed that the two comedians resided in his Boy’s Quarters during the early stages of their careers.

“It’s amazing to think that Basketmouth and AY were living in the boys’ quarters with me back in the days,” Alibaba revealed candidly during the podcast.

The disclosure comes in the wake of a longstanding 17-year feud between Basketmouth and AY, which only recently came to an end when Basketmouth publicly extended an apology to AY. Notably, Basketmouth also extended an invitation to AY to attend his recent comedy show at the prestigious Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos.
