In a bid to ensure transparency and efficiency in the allocation and execution of aid for the Tudun Biri community in Kaduna State, Governor Uba Sani has inaugurated a dedicated implementation and monitoring committee. The committee, led by Deputy Governor Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, has been tasked with overseeing the utilization of funds and the progress of projects in Tudun Biri.

The governor emphasized the importance of ensuring that all contributions from the Federal Government, National Assembly, Nigeria Governors Forum, corporate organizations, and well-meaning Nigerians reach the intended recipients. He also stressed the need to closely monitor the implementation of projects to guarantee their timely and effective completion.

The committee, comprised of representatives from the victims, community leaders, religious and political figures, alongside the Kaduna State Government, has been assigned several duties. These include establishing a comprehensive database of the injured and the next-of-kin of the victims, as well as creating a framework for the equitable disbursement of funds to ensure prompt delivery to the rightful beneficiaries. Moreover, the committee will collaborate with relevant federal and state agencies to facilitate the successful implementation of intervention projects in Tudun Biri.

Governor Sani stressed the significance of accountability, inclusivity, and transparency in the committee’s operations, underscoring the need for regular monthly reports to be submitted.
