In a significant move towards advancing the socio-economic landscape of Kogi State, Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello has signed into law 15 bills, including the establishment of the State Social Investment Programme Agency. Notable among them is the repeal of the Kogi State Internal Revenue Administration, Harmonization of Taxes, Duties, Levies Rates, Fees, and Charges due to the State and Revenue Appeal Tribunal Law 2017, now re-enacted as the Revenue Administration and Other Matters Connected Therewith Law, 2024. Additionally, the signing encompasses key initiatives such as the Kogi State Free Examination Registration Fees Bill and the establishment of the Kogi State Senior Secondary Education Board.
