Bola Tinubu Extols Aliko Dangote’s Prestigious Senegalese Honor

President Bola Tinubu has extended congratulations to Aliko Dangote for being honored with the National Order of the Lion by Senegal. The esteemed Nigerian industrialist and President of Dangote Group is set to receive this accolade from President Macky Sall of Senegal on Friday.

In a statement from Abuja on Thursday, Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced Tinubu’s commendation of Dangote for his business acumen and innovative endeavors, which have generated employment opportunities in Nigeria and throughout the West African region.

Tinubu emphasized that Dangote’s visionary contributions have significantly impacted Senegal’s economy, underscoring the prestigious nature of the honor bestowed upon him. The President praised Dangote and expressed his best wishes for the continued success of his ventures.

It is worth noting that Dangote Cement operates a 1.5 million metric tonnes per annum factory in Pout, positioned approximately 60 kilometers from Dakar. – NAN
