Nyesom Wike Offers N20 Million Bounty for Capture of Abuja’s Most Wanted Kidnappers

The former Rivers State Governor and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has taken a bold step in the fight against kidnapping in Nigeria’s capital by offering a N20 million bounty for the capture of two notorious kidnappers.
During a meeting with the FCT Commissioner of Police, Bennett Igweh, Wike announced the bounty on the heads of Dahiru Adamu and Abu Ibrahim, who have been causing fear and distress in the nation’s capital with their criminal activities.
“I will put money on them. I have placed a N20 million bounty on the two of them. Anyone who finds them would get the N20 million. Fish them out, dead or alive. We will not give them breathing space just as they’ve not been giving us breathing space,” Wike declared to the FCT police boss.
This bold move by Wike demonstrates the government’s determination to tackle crime and send a strong message to criminals operating in the area. Such decisive action is likely to galvanize efforts to bring these wanted individuals to justice and provide much-needed relief to the residents of Abuja.
