The Lagos State Police Command has declared Tajudeen Olanrewaju Bakare, also known as Oba Ogboni Abalaiye Ajamajebi, wanted for threatening public peace and illegal possession of firearms. Earlier this week, Bakare was featured in a viral video on social media, where he was seen brandishing a pump-action rifle and making threats to residents in the Surulere area of the state.

In a statement released on his verified Twitter handle, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, reported that the Rapid Response Squad, led by CSP Egbeyemi, conducted a sting operation at Bakare’s residence based on actionable intelligence. During the operation, officers discovered three pump-action rifles, one Beretta pistol magazine, one expended 9mm ammunition, one expended cartridge, three live cartridges, and a picture frame of the suspect.

The police command expressed gratitude to the people of Lagos for their vigilance and timely information to security agencies. They also issued a warning to potential troublemakers, emphasizing that anyone found violating the law would face appropriate consequences.
