Afrobeat sensation Davido has voiced his support for Peruzzi’s legal action against a social media influencer. The influencer in question, ‘Baddy of Lassu’, was responsible for creating false posts attributed to Peruzzi, accusing Davido of ingratitude and alleging an affair with Davido’s wife, Chioma.
Peruzzi, not taking the issue lightly, issued a stern warning of a lawsuit against the influencer. In response, the influencer publicly apologized and admitted to fabricating the posts. However, Peruzzi remained resolute in his decision to pursue legal recourse without accepting the apology.
In solidarity, Davido expressed his agreement that the influencer should face legal consequences by stating, “Throw away the keys.”
The incident sheds light on the repercussions of social media misuse and the artists’ stand against the dissemination of false information.
