Renowned American psychologist, Dr. Umar Johnson, has publicly shared his eagerness to partake in a Nigerian movie. In a recent viral video, he reached out to Nollywood filmmakers, expressing his interest in appearing in their productions.

“I am eagerly anticipating an invitation from Nigeria. I am keen on entering the world of Nollywood. I am open to acting in Nigerian movies. However, the content must be conscious. If anyone is creating a film, it has to embody consciousness. I will not participate in any blaxploitation. The character I portray must reflect my values and ethos. While I can embody a different persona, it has to be uplifting and aligned with a progressive, pan-African narrative. I will not perpetuate negative stereotypes on screen. Integrity is paramount,” Dr. Johnson affirmed.
