Wikki Tourists, a prominent Nigerian National League club, has made significant moves by acquiring four new players in preparation for the upcoming phase of the 2023-24 season.

The latest additions to the team include Sunday Joseph, Salisu Abdullahi, Ibrahim Abdullahi, and Nura Babangida. Joseph and Abdullahi successfully transitioned from Zamfara United to join the Bauchi Elephants, while Salisu made a notable switch from Kano Pillars to Wikki Tourists. Additionally, Nura Babangida has been elevated from the feeder team to the main roster, showcasing the club’s commitment to nurturing internal talent.

The quartet has swiftly integrated into the squad, actively participating in training sessions under the guidance of Head Coach Azeez Audu. Audu is relying on these new recruits to bolster the team’s performance and uphold their current standing in Group C, having amassed an impressive 16 points from eight matches in the initial round.

As the anticipation builds for the commencement of the second phase in March, Wikki Tourists and their supporters are eager to witness how the freshly strengthened team will fare in the upcoming challenges.
