Drake Loses £478,000 Bet on Ngannou vs Joshua Fight, Continues Losing Streak in Combat Sports

Renowned rapper, Drake, recently faced a significant loss of £478,000 after betting on Francis Ngannou to defeat Anthony Joshua in a high-stakes heavyweight boxing match last Friday.

Drake had the potential to win over £1 million, but his hopes were dashed as Joshua swiftly took down Ngannou in just two rounds.

The fight culminated in a brutal knockout delivered by Joshua, leaving Ngannou sprawled on the canvas and requiring immediate medical attention before managing to stand up.

This defeat adds to Drake’s string of losses in the realm of combat sports. Earlier this year, he lost a substantial sum when he backed Sean Strickland in a UFC middleweight championship bout against Dricus Du Plessis.

Furthermore, the 37-year-old suffered another blow when Israel Adesanya was unexpectedly defeated by Strickland in the octagon, resulting in a loss of £430,000. Prior to that, Drake wagered £700,000 on Logan Paul to emerge victorious over Dillon Danis in a boxing match.
