Finidi George Likely to Lead Super Eagles in International Friendlies Against Ghana and Mali

Enyimba’s head coach, Finidi George, is poised to take the reins of the Super Eagles for upcoming international friendlies against Ghana and Mali. With the departure of former coach Jose Peseiro, the position is currently vacant, but the Nigeria Football Federation is expected to announce a new head coach soon.

Reports suggest that Finidi, who previously served as an assistant to Peseiro, will step into the role for the two friendlies. The accomplished former winger recently guided Enyimba to their ninth Nigeria Premier Football League title, showcasing his coaching prowess.

The Super Eagles are set to face off against arch-rivals Ghana at the Grande de Marrakech on March 22, followed by a match against Mali four days later at the same venue. Fans can anticipate an exciting display of talent and skill as the three-time African Champions take on formidable opponents.
