According to Abosede, Mohbad’s life was filled with turmoil as Naira Marley and Sam Larry constantly involved him in various problems. She expressed her disapproval of Naira Marley’s brother, who was Mohbad’s manager, and warned her son to stay away from him and anyone associated with Naira Marley. Abosede recounted instances where Mohbad was physically assaulted by Sam Larry and Naira Marley, leading to serious injuries and even hospitalization.
