He clarified that his decision to join the APC was not to disrupt the party but to collaborate with stakeholders in building a stronger party presence in Ezza South.
Encouraging other Ezza South members to join the APC for the area’s growth and development, Ogbee, a former two-term House of Representatives member for lkwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency, expressed gratitude to the APC state Chairman, Stanley Okoro Emegha, for welcoming him and his supporters into the party.
Emegha emphasized that the APC’s doors are open to all who wish to join, urging politicians and citizens in Ezza South to unite for a more prosperous future for the state. He emphasized inclusivity within the party, encouraging opposition party members to consider joining the APC for a stronger political landscape in Ebonyi State.
As this political shift unfolds, all eyes are on how this move will impact the upcoming elections and the overall governance dynamics in Ebonyi State. The defection of Hon. Lazarus Ogbee and his supporters sends ripples through the state’s political landscape, setting the stage for a potentially transformative period in the state’s political history.
