Enyimba’s Daga and Izuogu Return from African Games for Federation Cup Final

Daniel Daga and Chibueze Izuogu have made a triumphant return to Enyimba after proudly representing Nigeria at the African Games 2023 in Accra, Ghana. The dynamic duo were key players in the Flying Eagles squad that competed in the men’s football event, with Izuogu impressively scoring a goal and Daga showcasing his skills in midfield.

Despite their best efforts, the Flying Eagles unfortunately only managed to secure one victory out of three games, leading to their early exit from the competition at the group stage. However, their absence did not hinder Enyimba’s quest for a historic 10th Nigeria Premier Football League title, as the team continued to perform strongly in their absence.

Now back with their club, Daga and Izuogu are gearing up for their next challenge as they prepare to face off against Abia Warriors in the highly anticipated Abia State Federation Cup final on Sunday. With their talent and determination, they are sure to make a significant impact on the pitch and help lead Enyimba to further success.

Stay tuned as these two rising stars showcase their skills and passion for the game, proving themselves as valuable assets to both club and country.
