Former Governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili, has officially endorsed Governor Siminalayi Fubara as the political leader of the state. Odili commended Fubara for his dedication to defending the interests of the people and acknowledged his electoral victory through both the ballot and the courts.

Speaking at the commissioning of a Primary Healthcare Centre donated by his PAMO Foundation in Ndoni, Odili emphasized the importance of Fubara’s leadership, stating that “if Rivers State sneezes, the entire Nigeria would catch cold.” He urged Fubara to make decisions with this awareness in mind and highlighted the significant progress the governor has made in various sectors within his first year in office.

Odili also encouraged Fubara to continue aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his policies to attract federal government attention and support to the state. “Your government is aligning correctly with President Tinubu’s government, especially in the area of education, agriculture, and now the health sector,” Odili stated. He conveyed the message from the people of Rivers State, declaring Fubara as their political leader and expressing their unwavering support for him.
