Bobrisky Sentenced to Six Months in Jail for Naira Mutilation

Crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, commonly known as Bobrisky, has been sentenced to six months in jail without the option of a fine by Justice Abimbola Awogboro on April 12, 2023, at the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Bobrisky had previously been brought before the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on six-count charge, including allegations of Naira abuse and money laundering.

Although the money laundering charges were dropped, he confessed to Naira abuse and was consequently convicted.
