Reality TV show Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 is scheduled to commence in July, according to the organisers of the popular reality series.
On Sunday, the organisers took to Instagram to drop teasers about the upcoming new season, though the exact date of the commencement remains undisclosed. “One Sunday in July, Get Ready! What’s better than One? Remember to mark your calendars! #BBNaijaS9,” they wrote.
This announcement comes on the heels of BBNaija Season 4 winner Mercy Eke’s revelation during her Instagram Live session that there will be no reunion for the housemates of the last season, the ‘All-Stars’ edition.
BBNaija Season 9 auditions began on March 27, 2024, and this season promises a unique twist with a focus on ‘couple’ housemates. The organisers previously stated, “This time around, we’re on the lookout for Dynamic Duos who are passionate about the show and can bring the heat to Biggie’s house.”
