Honor X60i Unveiled in China with Dual Rear Camera Setup and Up to 12GB of RAM

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor has launched its latest flagship device, the Honor X60i, in China. The new smartphone features a dual rear camera setup, a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, and up to 12GB of RAM. Here’s a rundown of the Honor X60i’s key features and availability.

Design and Display

The Honor X60i boasts a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The device is available in four color options: Cloud Blue, Coral Purple, Magic Night Black, and Moon Shadow White.

Performance and Storage

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of onboard storage. It runs on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0.

Camera

The Honor X60i features a dual rear camera system, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with an LED flash unit. The front camera sports an 8-megapixel sensor.

Battery and Connectivity

The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging. It also offers dual 5G, dual 4G, Wi-Fi, OTG, GPS, A-GPS, Galileo, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C connectivity.

Biometric Authentication and Durability

The Honor X60i features an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication and has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The device measures 161.05 x 74.55 x 7.18mm in size and weighs 172g.

Availability and Pricing

The Honor X60i is currently available for pre-orders in China and will go on sale starting August 2 via the Honor China e-store. The device is priced at CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 16,100) for the 8GB + 256GB option, CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 18,400) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, and CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 20,700) for the 12GB + 512GB model.

The Honor X60i succeeds the Honor X50i, which was introduced in China in April 2023. While there’s no word on when the device will be launched in India, fans of the brand will be eagerly waiting for more information.
